Nico Robin strategy

Purple/Yellow Nico Robin (OP09-062) is the Ohara leader, not a character slot in Nami. In OP17 she is a ramp deck that trashes Trigger cards for extra DON!!, then spends that DON!! on yellow Big Mom bodies. The Flame Flame Winner Utrecht list on this site is the same shell: 10-cost Linlin, Sweet 3 Generals, Oven, Pudding, and Gum-Gum Giant.

Hosted lists average that Big Mom package. Limitless pairings in the OP17 window also say she is the volume answer to green Mihawk: Robin won 47 of 80 decided games (58.8%). If the room is full of hawks, this is the list to register.

How the leader works

OP09-062 · 4 life · 5000 · Strike

Robin sits at 4 life / 5000 power with Strike and built-in Banish. Damage she deals trashs the life card without its Trigger. Opponents spend Counters on 5000 leader swings they would otherwise eat, which empties their hand before the 10-cost turn.

The engine is the attack trigger: trash one Trigger from hand, take a DON!! from the DON!! deck, and rest it. Every Trigger in the list is both a yellow payoff and fuel. You do not need a Stage. You need a Trigger in hand on the attack that converts 6 DON!! into 7, or 7 into 8, so Linlin lands on curve.

OPDeckGuide’s Robin writeup calls the same sequence “rope-a-dope”: flood 4k Trigger bodies that punish a KO, then Linlin turns those 4ks into 8ks. Use that page for the turn-by-turn DON!! count. The hosted consensus is the 50-card list people are actually registering.

The current 50-card core

Averaged from OP17 Robin lists on this site

The hub consensus is 89 OP17 lists filled to 50 cards. Eight cards are 4-ofs: Streusen (OP17-113), Charlotte Daifuku (OP17-107), Charlotte Pudding (OP17-109), Yamato (OP17-074), Charlotte Oven (OP17-102), Charlotte Smoothie (OP17-106), Sweet 3 Generals (OP17-114), and Charlotte Linlin (OP17-112). Gum-Gum Giant (OP09-078) is also a 4-of. Brulee, Borsalino, Perospero, and Marshall D. Teach sit at 3. Baby 5 is the 2-of flex.

That is a yellow Big Mom pile with a purple event. Streusen and Pudding find the name. Oven recasts what Pudding trashed. Linlin is the turn you built the DON!! for. Giant is the 1-cost Counter that also pitches a brick.

Flame Flame Winner Utrecht (Benjo, 4 September 2026) keeps the same 4-ofs and swaps some of the 3-ofs: 3 Teach, 3 Perospero, 3 OP05-073, 2 Brulee, and no Baby 5 / Borsalino. It is a shop-photo list, not a theory brew. Start from the hub consensus, then look at that Utrecht page if you want the event that actually put Robin in the winner photo.

The curve

First or second · public OP17 writeup + hosted lists

Going first is the clean Linlin line. Search or draw on the low DON!! turns (Pudding / Streusen), attack with Robin so the leader effect adds a rested DON!!, then spend It’s to Die For or Oven to keep the trash line live. OPDeckGuide’s curve has Linlin on turn 4 if you hit the Trigger discards. Hosted lists often cut It’s to Die For for more Giants and Teach; the DON!! still comes from the leader.

Going second, attach enough DON!! to swing 8000 with the leader, trash a Trigger, and keep the same 10-cost arrival one turn later. Do not ramp into an empty hand. If you miss the 3-cost Pudding or Streusen, you have 10 DON!! and no Linlin. That is the listed weakness on the OPDeckGuide page, and it matches the 3-of Brulee / searcher counts on this site.

Why she beats Mihawk

Limitless pairings · 80 games

Green Mihawk recycles DON!! and rests the board. Robin does not win a rest war. She presents 10-cost yellow threats and Banish life that do not care if the hawk froze a 5-cost. Across the OP17 pairing sample on the Mihawk matchups page, Robin is 47–33 (58.8%) in 80 games — the biggest reliable hole in that table.

OPDeckGuide also lists Mihawk as favorable for Robin. Ace and Shanks are favorable there too; Rocks and Black Luffy are slightly unfavorable. Treat the guide strip as a curve note, not a substitute for the pairing table. The pairing table is why this page exists next to the hawk page: Robin is the list you register when the room is hawks.

Matchups in short

Pairings first, then the public guide

Mihawk: play the 10-cost and the Banish attacks. Do not try to win a rest lock. Ace / Luffy & Ace: the rush decks that punish a slow ramp. OPDeckGuide calls Ace favorable and Luffy & Ace unfavorable; the hawk page has Ace as a hawk hunter, so this pairing is a race, not a bye. Sabo: even on the guide; most common hawk pairing in the other sample. Rocks: slightly unfavorable on the guide. Blue Rocks draws and clogs the board before you reach Linlin. Kaido / Black Luffy: close. Keep Giant and a Trigger in hand so the leader attack still ramps.

The hosted Flame Flame Winner Utrecht page is the 4 September winner photo. OPDeckGuide’s west hub also posted Bandai Utrecht Robin lists (Benjo, Max) on 5 September. A public Top 32 Utrecht Finals graphic on r/OnePieceTCG counted 7 Nico Robin in the 32, behind only Mihawk (10) and ahead of Sabo (6). Japanese TCG PORTAL and OPDeckGuide east shops keep posting the same yellow 4-ofs. None of those pages invent cards from art — they are 50-card ID dumps.
